The mystery of the blue objects in the garden is solved!
We have a bower bird - just spent ten minutes entranced watching a male Satin bower bird try to entice a female to his bower
Unfortunately I didn't manage to get the birds themselves - one camera was out of battery, another had a hissy fit over recognising its SD card - but we most definitely have a bower!
